Treasury Specialist - Europe

In this role, you will handle both operational and strategic treasury tasks, including cash & liquidity management, intercompany funding, and process improvements within a dynamic environment. This is a hands-on role, with excellent learning and growth opportunities. The salary is around 90K; Location: Zeeland with a hybrid working model (50% office-based).

As Treasury Specialist Europe, you will be responsible for:

• Managing daily cash and liquidity forecasting and optimization across the region

• Handling intercompany funding and cash pooling to ensure adequate cash flow

• Executing operational FX trading and supporting trade finance activities

• Ensuring bank compliance (including KYC) and maintaining strong banking relationships

• Overseeing treasury systems (Corima TMS, TIS, S4Hana) and supporting process improvements

• Reviewing, approving, and processing payments and maintaining bank accounts

You have 4–7 years of treasury experience in an international environment and enjoy covering all treasury aspects, from daily operations to strategic topics. You are flexible, communicative, proactive, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key. You are fluent in English; Dutch or German is a plus. Sponsorship is not available and ex-bankers will not be considered.

Our client operates globally in the plastics industry. It is a PE-owned, growth-focused company with offices worldwide, including in the Netherlands and Germany. The European treasury team is small and collaborative (five people total), with a direct, open culture that values flexibility and ownership.

The salary range is around 90K, depending on experience, plus a performance bonus up to 15% and a collective pension scheme.

The selection process includes at least three interviews with HR, the Head of Treasury, the CFO, and potential colleagues. Our client aims to fill this role quickly.
