Deputy Group Treasurer - Utrecht

As Deputy Treasury Manager you will be responsible for efficient and smoothly running treasury operations, collaborate closely with group control and business teams, and play a key role in driving strategic projects and increasing the maturity of the function. This is a hands on, full time position based at the head office in Utrecht (hybrid), with excellent career perspectives.

You report to the Group Treasurer and are responsible for establishing efficient and effective treasury operations, ensuring optimal interest results, bank costs, and control of liquidity and financial instruments. You will own the treasury management system and related tools, safeguard standardised and automated processes, and ensure robust control principles. You provide treasury expertise to business teams and lead or participate in strategic projects that contribute to the continuous improvement and professionalisation of the treasury landscape.

You are an experienced, ambitious and all round treasury professional with a proactive, hands on mentality. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where ownership, independent thinking and teamwork align. You combine strong analytical and project management capabilities with excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively across departments and drive meaningful improvements.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in financial or business economics or equivalent;
• Minimum of 12 years of treasury experience an international corporate environment  (consulting background is a plus);
• Proven track record in leading projects;
• Excellent analytical, project management, communication, and collaboration skills;
• Proactive, hands on, self starter mindset;
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
