Profile Interim Treasury Analyst

As an Interim Treasury Analyst, you will play a key role in the carve-out of an international business being separated from a listed group and acquired by a private equity investor. During this transition, you will work closely with two senior treasury professionals who are involved on a part-time basis, making you the full-time backbone of the treasury operations.

The environment is fast-paced and hands-on, with processes still being built and priorities evolving rapidly. You will ensure that day-to-day treasury activities run smoothly, with a primary focus on cash management and liquidity visibility. In addition, you will support on FX-related activities and contribute to the further development of the treasury function.

You will work extensively with banking portals and spreadsheets, taking a pragmatic approach: identifying what needs to be done and executing independently.

Ideal Interim Treasury Analyst

You are a self-sufficient, hands-on treasury professional who thrives in an environment where not everything is fully set up yet. You bring structure, clarity, and reliability, acting as a “safe pair of hands” within the team.

You are comfortable balancing operational execution with process improvement and can operate effectively in an international, highly decentralized organization with strong local autonomy.

You:

  • Have several years of experience in operational treasury, particularly cash management;
  • Are able to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Are proficient with banking portals and Excel;
  • Preferably have experience in a corporate or international environment;
  • Are available on short notice (ideally end of April / early May);
  • Are available full-time for approximately 6 months;
  • Are based in or near Amsterdam and willing to be present in the office regularly;
  • Are pragmatic, reliable, and able to maintain oversight in a dynamic environment.

Our client is an internationally operating business with approximately €1 billion in revenue, currently undergoing a carve-out following acquisition by a private equity firm. The organization operates in a highly decentralized manner, with significant autonomy at local level. The treasury function is being built from the headquarters in Amsterdam, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to its foundation. The culture is hands-on, entrepreneurial, and results-driven, with room for initiative and ownership.

Remuneration and Process

This is an interim assignment of approximately 6 months, with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role. The hourly fee is around €80, but can vary depending on experience.

The preferred start date is end of April or early May, ideally just ahead of transaction closing. Further details are available for suitable candidates. A fast process is anticipated.
