At the end of this month we will have a bittersweet moment for Treasurer Search and Britta Stermsek, as we say goodbye to her as a team member. About three years ago, when I decided to make the dream of a German branch of our company reality, Britta was instrumental in getting us off the ground. Her experience and expertise in the German labour market were very valuable, and she played an essential role in shaping the company we are today.
I personally worked closely with Britta on numerous senior assignments, like Group Treasurer and Leiter Kapitalmanagement. Her insights and her personal approach were very important in successful placements. She was a true partner in these projects, and together, we successfully navigated some of our most complex searches. Beyond her direct contributions, Britta was a wonderful mentor to Alana and Antonio, guiding them and helping them get up to speed in their roles. Her willingness to share her knowledge and support their growth has left a lasting impact on our team.
Britta’s journey with us was unique. She balanced her work at Treasurer Search with her own company, Briss. Her dedication was remarkable. Now, she will be returning to a full focus on Briss, her passion project, and we couldn’t be happier for her.
Team Treasurer Search Germany will have to continue her path without Britta but I am confident we will do fine. Over the last few years we built a solid track record, finding treasury experts and leaders from second career step up to Group Treasurer. We are ready to gear up and expect further team members will join in not too long.
The connection between Britta and me was built long before Treasurer Search and Briss and will continue into the future. We worked hard on a proper hand over but can always pick up the phone with all kinds of questions, also about known clients, candidates and assignments. And also about new ones, as I am confident there will be.
Britta, on behalf of the entire team, thank you for being our colleague. While we will miss you dearly, we are excited to see what the future holds for you and Briss. We wish you all the very best not only in your entrepreneurship, but of course also in all other aspects of your life. And I am sure we will continue to see you, as your main supplier of bitterballen.
